Beauty & Shampoo Chair BÜCE – Selected as 2019 Global Small Giant Company

BDKorea Co., Ltd.’s BÜCE, the first company in Korea to develop electric height devices
and supply beauty devices such as electric chairs and electric bases to more than 30 countries,
including the United States and Europe, has been selected as the 2019 Global Small Giant Company.
What is a Global Small Giant company?
It is a project that support overseas marketing, finance, etc.
in order to discover small and medium-sized export enterprises
with innovation and growth potential and foster them as leading exprot enterprises;
Selected companies can receive overseas marketing, R&D preferential treatment, interest reduction,
and local government support as global small giant companies for four years in conjunction.
On May 16, Ministry of SMEs and Statrups Incheon Regional Office selected 15 export SMEs
that will lead the global market as “2019 Global Small Giant” and held a “Global Small Giant selection Ceremony”
at Haeoreum Room on the second floor of the Ministry of SMEs and Statrups Incheon Regional Office
The “Global Small Giant” selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Statrups will be selecting a total of 200 promising
companies that achieved more than $5 million
in export records last year and will receive focused government subsidies and financial benefits.
In 2019, total of 15 global small giant companies has been selected in Incheon. For 4 years,until 2022,
they can receive customized package support provided by the Ministry of SMEs and Statrups,
Incheon City, and private financial institutions.
In 2019, Selected company’s 18 year average sales were 27 billion dollars,
and its average direct exports were 776 million dollars.
They are companies with high global growth potential,
with an average sales growth rate of 15.7% over the past three years and an average direct export ratio of 40.4% to sales.
